ENGINE SPEED WOULD NOT DECREASE; LOSS OF ACCELERATORCONTROL COULD RESULT IN A CRASH WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING.
Repair
INSTALL A CLAMP AROUND THE LOCK TAB OF CRUISE CONTROL.
